Theo Bardsley (b. 1997, London, England) is self-taught painter working in London. His large scale, colourful works portray the city around him from his perspective. His images are just as likely to depict self-portraiture and people close to him, as depicting stories he has been told whilst sat at the bar of the pub. With an art historical background which heavily influences him, Theo aims to merge the current with the historical, building up textured layers over the canvas, hoping to allow the viewers to associate the paintings with a certain point in their own life, and in turn transport them back to that moment.
