Victor Marqué
Victor Marqué (b. 1992, Trappes, France) lives and works in Porto, Portugal in the Atelier Santo Isidro. Whilst studying at the National School of Architecture of Versailles, Victor discovered the pleasure of both drawing and geometry.
Following his degree, Victor moved to Portugal to develop his artistic practice with more freedom to explore a range of mediums including drawing, painting and sculpture. In 2018, he began learning ceramics at Brâmica studio. Since then, the artist has been building a catalogue of miniature geometric amulets. The intricate enamelled clay sculptures explore stories of architecture, archaeology and form.
