WP: "What is your most beloved room in your home and why?"

Zain: "My favourite room in my house is the dining room. I grew up in a seaview bed and breakfast that my family ran together in a small town in the North of England. The dining room has dark oak panelling across the walls. Since we moved in, we were told there was a dance floor buried under the carpet, so a couple years back I spent a few weekends removing the carpet to reveal the most beautiful wooden flooring beneath. But sadly no dancefloor. I took this pic after the final polish was completed with the new floor! Fish symbolise many things, including eternal life, wisdom and knowledge in our culture and so I love acquiring pieces related to that. Was so lovely to see such a beautiful collection with this symbolism. I also chose Lavinia Gallie's artwork as my fourth as I love the colours and placement."
