DESCRIPTION
A hand-shaped and welded steel structure forms the frame. It is covered in mulberry paper, with a natural dye made from walnut husks used to create organic spots across an undyed ivory background. The paper’s texture comes from Momigami, a traditional Japanese technique meaning “kneaded paper.” This technique, once used by Japanese farmers who could not afford expensive fabric, strengthens the paper, giving it remarkable resilience.

Pendant shade only – an E26 (US) or E27(UK and Europe) bulb holder can be fitted to the ring welded inside the shade. Can be used with a plug-in fitting or fixed ceiling fitting depending on desired setup. Electrical fitting not included.
