Jack Samels
Jack Samels (b. 1988, West Virginia, USA) is a Minneapolis-based collage artist and photographer. Jack thinks of his abstract collage work as painting with found ink, discovering freedom in the limitations of paper and glue. Rooted in colour and composition the evocative forms play in a tension that helps distil the textural complexity into moments of visual poetry. As a photographer he is interested in finding similar poetic moments.
