Sophie Merrell (b. 1994, London, England) is a photographer based in London. Inspired by and trained with an anthropology degree from Edinburgh, she uses photography as a tool to document societies, cultures and sub-cultures around the world using an analogue camera.
Sophie has exhibited her photographs at ‘Clout City’, Copeland Gallery, London (2018), Safehouse1, London (2018), and at Summerhall Gallery, Edinburgh (2017). The photographer was a winner of Revolv Collective photography competition (2018), and has featured in several publications, including Suitcase Mag, Curated by Girls, Drift Travel, and Clean Conception.
