Kit Lintin
BIOGRAPHY
Kit Lintin (b. 1996, Yorkshire, England) is a British painter living and working in London. Since completing her BA in Fine Art, she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across the UK. Working primarily in oil, Lintin uses still life as a way to examine presence, perception and the quiet traces of everyday life.
Her paintings focus on familiar domestic objects, arranged with restraint so that atmosphere and meaning emerge gradually through light, surface and proximity. Drawing on historical still life traditions while introducing subtle shifts in scale and composition, the work sits between observation and suggestion. Human presence is implied rather than depicted, allowing objects to carry emotional and psychological weight.
Lintin’s paintings encourage contemplation and re-encounter, inviting the viewer to pause and recognise the strangeness within the ordinary.
