Yeliza Gevorgyan (b. 1989, Vanadzor, Armenia) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Rotterdam. Discreet colours, surface structures and textures balanced by naïve indeterminate lines and unruly forms by an effortless sense of reduction. The interplay of music, language and art comes natural to the artist. The reductive compositions with both complexity and simplicity are grounded in a deep appreciation for raw material, bridging ancient artistic traditions and modern abstraction.
